Champions of the

2008 Oregon City Amateur Championship

Joe Vaughan of Eastmoreland GC carded a one-over par total of 143 to coast to a six-shot victory in the 40th Annual Oregon City  Amateur Championship held June 7 & 8.  Vaughan's Saturday round of three-under 68 gave him a five-shot lead over eventual runner-up Jon Warren of OCGC that he would never relinquish.

In the Senior Division, OCGC's own Bob Holbrook shot rounds of 78 and 76 for a two-shot win over Kevin Beebehiser of Heron Lakes GC.

This year's event drew 78 total entrants in the Men's and Senior Divisions.
