"A
Challenging Public Golf Course"
Oregon
City Golf Club at Lone Oak's modern
clubhouse and various event rooms add versatility with a wide
range of possibilities for creating a memorable golf
outing.
“In
1922 a handful of golf enthusiasts met to talk golf. Finances
were fully discussed, sites were visited and all angles of
Golf operations were considered. After many deliberations
someone said, “LET’S GO.” ….…….
‘Today Oregon City enjoys the privilege of having as
one of its assets the makings of a first class Golf Course.
…
In conclusion I would state that the Oregon City Golf Club
has undertaken a worthy project; one that will benefit the
health of its members, will be a prominent means of harmonizing
the situation that has long existed between the business and
professional life of Oregon City and lastly will bring the
city man closer to the farmer. Every out of door loving citizen
should join the Golf Club, and every one will if he will only
take the time to go out to the links and play a game, inhale
the fresh air and get close to mother nature.“
Phil Hammond, Secretary

Annual
Meeting minutes of the Members of the
